• Cavy Care Inc is by appointment only. Friday, Saturdays and Sunday's  from 1:00 from to 5:00 (4:00) is the last time in the day that we will make an appointment. 

•  The reason we like to work by appointment is to offer something few other shelters are able to do, no waiting, we provide immediate attention; we are here just for our adoptive parents for that hour. An adoption counselor works one on one to answer questions, helping your to interact with as many of our guinea pigs as you are interested in. 

• For one hour the shelter is all but reserved for that scheduled adoptive parent's. 

  So if you are unable to keep your appointment please call...

• Adopters go home with a box for their newly adopted family member, one pound of shelter mix food and information for the care of your new guinea pig.

Cavy Care Inc. does not adopt to out of state residents.

• CCI does not keep forms after a week  -but make attempts to contact potential adopters by phone and email leaving it to them to contact us after that point. If we were able to receive your form we would have contacted you. You will receive a 24 hour notice that is sent automatically by our system when we do receive forms.  
• It can take 24 hours to process a form and appointments are not make until an approval is made. 
• Appointments are booked on a first come first served bases and we do fill up quickly. 

  Pre-adoption Interview Form

This form can only be completed by an individual 18 years or older. You must be adopting the animal for yourself or your immediate family. Incomplete information may slow down the adoption process.
